This was nothing special - the first 160 pages were so long and could definitely have been reduced. However after this it did start to get a bit quicker paced and it was just a really easy book to read.
The plot was so predictable and I was able to guess every single twist before it happened.
This storyline was pretty similar to the first book of the series as well so if you liked the first book you’ll probably like this one too.
I liked the ending though! I also liked how she brought back in the characters from the first book.

I loved Rhys Larsen. I loved Bridget. Their dynamic was good. I also love the way Ana Huang writes, and my other half had given me books 1 and 2 for a gift because I mentioned that I wanted to read this series. I want to finish this series even if they can potentially be read out of order, but I like reading a series in order from book 1 to 4. I also enjoyed finding out who exactly Rhys Larsen is and where he came from which kind of made him the perfect match for Bridget.
okay this was more enjoyable than the first book and the writing was slightly better but still bothered me. the characters and the plot were way more interesting.
