Felt a bit long a clunky. Took a while to get to the point. Could be partly because this was read in paperback and not kindle. Was anxious to finish, but upon reflection, feel a strange attachment to the characters and premise.

Poetic. Descriptive (sometimes a little overdone). Atmospheric. Unique story.
Graphic: Animal death
A dark tale for sure. Whether it’s compared to Pans Labyrinth or an adult Alice in Wonderland this one definitely dabbles in the horror genre. Was definitely a unique and fun divergence from my usual reading fare.
No.
Gory. Too long.
I think maybe I liked the writing style, not the story. Idk.

Indescribable
This book is written beautifully, both in the prose of the narrative and the poetry of the Winterset Hollow story. I really can't find other words to describe it. I think this one will stay with me quite a while.
