It was great read. Arron and Juliette (or Ella) got the ending they deserved. (They're getting married ✨)
But I felt like the ending was kinda rushed. There were a places where the book got kinda slow and the plot wasn’t explained very well. And certain things were repeated over and over. Warner & Juliette's interaction was kinda less

This is by far my favorite book in the shatter me series, it took me a bit longer to read than normal but only because I didn't want the series to end (I still have to read the Believe me novella after this but it's not the same as a full book), over time I completely fell in love with every character in the series and cried because it is now over. They will forever hold a place in my heart and there is nothing I could say to convince you to read this series because I've never experienced books like these before. It is popular for a reason, please read this series.

This book took a left turn into how did we get here, and much like the last book, felt wholly unsupported by the rest of the series

Really enjoyed this book, again it had the kind of writing that made me not want to put it down and I breezed through these 450 pages in a matter of hours.
Some of the scenes are so horrendous to read about and make me feel so sad.
I absolutely adored Kenji during this book. He is just a 5/5 well written character throughout this series. His banter and sarcasm and the jokes he cracks are just so great.
I kind of loved the fact that Aaron reverted to being an asshole the moment Juliette was taken from him. Because she is his whole world dammit, she makes him a better version of himself.
I do feel kind of bummed out about the fact Juliette was so pacified throughout this book though. I feel like her character arc throughout this series is a bit disappointing. She’s been so pathetic for so long, and then I loved her development during Defy Me but then during this book it was just a bit sort of, nothing. I understand that she was kidnapped and brainwashed etc but it just kinda felt a bit crap that yet again she was having to be rescued from Oceania by the same people who rescued her before. Only this time we didn’t get the badass rebel Juliette scenes like we did before.
I also was not a massive lover of the ending of this book. But I’m looking forward to reading Believe Me as the final novella of this series.
Satisfactory ending? Kind of.
