Oh wow! This story was so great! It’s not your usual romance where girl meets boy and everything is perfect. No!
It’s real! It’s beautiful! It’s ugly! It’s EMOTIONNAL!
“I don’t just love you. I’m living you! My heart beats you. My lungs breathe you. You’re in my fucking veins!”
Eva has been a victim of sexual abuse in the past years. To start fresh, she goes to college away from home. She’s this girl afraid to let people in. On a party night, she meets a kind boy who sees the real her. At first sight there’s an indisputable connection between them, but she flies away rapidly. Blake seems to see the broken girl in her. With perseverance and a few other meeting between them, he soon finds himself friend with her. But with their mutual attraction will Eva give him a chance to make it more?
It’s been a long time since I had the chance to meet a book boyfriend like Blake. Such perfection! Sweet, thoughtful, tender and patient! He is paying attention to Eva’s needs, giving her the control in their relationship. He knows how to treat her. I loved him so much! Eva is an heroine completely haunted by her bad memories that never disappear, but with the help of Blake, she finally has a little break from it all and can breathe again. But her demons are still never very far away and Blake must demonstrate time and time again that he can be her source of strength. I liked her, but I thought she was hard on herself and had a trust issue with the people she cares for by not divulging her deepest secret. Their emotional connection was a deep one, where every actions and feelings was felt tremendously.
“Your eyes give it all away. I know you feel alone and I know you have no clue what you’re worth. You can’t blame yourself for what happened to you. It’s not your fault, baby!”
I was left shattered by this book! This poignant story was filled with struggles and darkness, but also love and hope. The way it ended! What a cliffhanger! I highly recommend it! It was sensational!

Update: Came back to the story and I'm glad that I did.
I tried, but this authors writing & style just couldn't hold my interest. I'll revisit at a later date.

This book was an amazing read! If you haven't read this book, I highly recommend you do! I was captivated from the first page and couldn't put the book down until the end! Which only left me wanting more and ready for the next book and final installment to come out! Such a bummer that I have to wait until 2016!
This was a great story! You hear about sexual abuse stories all the time but Ive never actually read one. It really puts into perspective what someone can go through. I know everyone reacts differently to situations, but this was a general response from many people in Eva's situation (Im sure).
Even though this book is a great read, it leave you sad and heartfelt as to how anyone can live with being sexually abused or even after it stopped. This book was an awareness read and I think anyone should read this book!

Live Me was everything you needed to read about things that happen around the world. The words are so true and beautiful. The chemistry and tension between the characters is so thick and amazing! This book is just amazing!
Eva is a beautiful girl, who doesn't know it, but she's broken and damaged, or so she thinks. Trying to get over her past has been hard, especially when she visits home. She never excepted to fall for the gorgeous Blake Turner. Blake is a few years older than Eva. He does everything in his power to let Eva know he is there for her, even though she won't confirm what he is sensing. Eva feels it's easier to push people away, then let them deal with her emotions.

I can’t believe this is the author’s first book. Great plot and very well written. I loved it.
Wow. Why haven't I read Celeste Grande before now? She did such a magnificent job of writing this book that you would have no idea that Live Me is her debut novel! She did a wonderful job of developing the plot, and the characters were so well-done! It has so many different feels- sadness, angst, tenderness, and love.
I connected with Eva right from the start. Her trauma felt so real to me. And Blake- what an absolute sweetheart! He was so patient and caring with Eva! I can't wait to read the next book, Breathe You!
Live Me was an emotional roller coaster- my favorite kind of book. I recommend this for anyone who enjoys an angsty read. I will definitely reread!

Ah this book. So so so so so good. Everything. The characters, the tension, the storyline. It's remarkable.
A lot of times in books when a character has a big bad secret, I want to strangle them and say IT WILL ALL BE OKAY IF YOU JUST GET IT OUT. I clearly get very frustrated. But in this book, I'm struggling right alongside Eva. I understand her trepidation with this secret. I love her. Really. Her growth (and digressions) in this book are so natural.
Blake. Sigh. Such a fantastic character. Even though I'm not usually a fan of the love-at-first-sight bit, Celeste makes it work for this book. Blake is fantastic, I would not change a single thing about his character!
The editing. I love supporting indie authors. Their books are usually fantastic, and there generally is not a crazy long gap between books. HOWEVER, the reason there is not a crazy long gap between books is because there probably aren't a million people editing the book, and it shows-almost always a ton of errors. Celeste Grande must not be human because, not only did she write this phenomenal book, but k did not see a single error! Eek it excited me.
Anyways, just read this book-you won't regret it!
