I recently started watching this anime and quickly fell in love.
Even though I have to read the subtitles because it's in Japanese, I love it to pieces!
And the manga is no exception.
Can't wait to jump right into the second one!!!

After seeing the many posts on my tumblr dash about this mysterious "Shingeki no Kyojin" I watched the anime in pretty much one sitting. Then my friend lent me the manga, and it's just as good. I love the idea of giant man eating titans and the tragedy the characters go through to reclaim the earth for humankind. Looking forward to more volumes.

A brutal dystopian story. 

A simple stark art style that holds incredible emotion, slick preened art wouldn't fit the story nearly as well. 

I felt scared, shocked and desperately hopeful.
