I enjoyed this book, this was my second book about Death doula and I find it very interesting. I also enjoyed hearing the authors thoughts on why she wrote this book.

This book follows Clover who is a death doula (helps people mentally accept their impending death and with any final thoughts or requests). Clover’s parents passed as a young age and was raised by her Grandfather. She lived kind of a sheltered life not knowing how to really live and make relationships, until she understands some things her patients teach her about life.

6 stars if I could …

This book was incredible! It dealt with a heavy topic without being depressing. I listened to the audio and the narrator was also incredible. I can’t recommend this enough.

I almost DNF this book at about 30%. It’s hard for me to pick up a book if I haven’t gotten into it by this point. I am so glad I gave it one more day!! It was so good after that point. So many good life and death lessons here. Hang in there if it doesn’t grab you at first.
