I really liked this book! I thought it was a creative concept. Clover was a relatable character and I appreciated the conversations surrounding death/grief.

I was not entirely sure I could read a book about a “Death Doula” after a year that I spent most of it grieving…and just finding out that a close relative passed away in the last week. But even though yes, I did cry…twice… it really was a book about living… the choices we make, and the risks we take to love or be loved. And who those fill our lives, no matter the outcome.
