Jeneva Rose’s books have been everywhere lately—in bookstores, my emails, social media feeds, and even airports. I’ve been intrigued by her Perfect series and decided to dive into the first book, The Perfect Marriage. As a fan of psychological thrillers, I was confident that I’d love this one.
The Perfect Marriage delves into the intricacies of a seemingly perfect relationship that’s tested by secrets and suspicion. The story follows Sarah Morgan, a successful defense attorney, and her husband, Adam, as their marriage faces unexpected challenges. With a fast-paced narrative and complex character dynamics, the book explores themes of trust, betrayal, and hidden truths.
The thrill and suspense in this book were exceptional. I was quickly captivated by the story and couldn’t put it down. I thought I had figured out the killer’s identity, but I was wrong. In fact, I was relieved that the ending was unexpected and cleverly crafted. I thoroughly enjoyed The Perfect Marriage and immediately placed a hold for the next book in the series, The Perfect Divorce. I’m also eagerly looking forward to reading Jeneva Rose’s other backlist titles.
I borrowed the audiobook of The Perfect Marriage from my library using Libby. Narrators Teri Schnaubelt and Neil Hellegers did an excellent job bringing the characters, Sarah and Adam, to life. To be honest, I preferred Teri’s narration to Neil’s.

This book had sooooo many twists and turns. It kept you on your toes and when you think you had it figured it out, you didn't.

This was a fantastic read!! Wow! The plot twist at the end had me shook. All throughout the book I was trying to connect the dots and I wouldn’t have guessed that ending for sure!
If you’re in need a fast paced thriller, I highly recommend giving this book a read!
