This is book 2 in JP Jackson’s Skin Sessions serial. A great short story, but definitely intended to be read after book 1, Demon at the Doorstep. As such, this book & review contain spoilers to the first one.
Again, Jackson is able to further develop a growing cast into unique and memorable characters. Sections from more perspectives than Sir & Corbin mean getting to know all the boys even better.
What’s life going to be like at The Unicorn’s Horn with a Demon as benefactor? A mix of horror, suspense, and mystery with a dash of romance and humor.
Easy to read in a few hours but hard to put down. I can’t wait for the 3rd installment.
Content Warnings:
Be sure to check the CWs on Jackson’s website.

Oh my goodness this is so good! Once I started I could not put this down and I am looking forward to more. New characters are introduced, clients start showing up to the brothel again, Taz-rial is making full use of the agreement and we get a deeper look into our “witch boy” Corbin.
J.P. Jackson has hit a grand slam with this one. Thank You for the story. I am off to read the next one.
For fellow mood readers and those with triggers Please read the content warnings at the beginning of the book.
