What an experience. Walking the hippy trail the year before it was shut down. Experiencing turkey, iran, Palestine, India, and Nepal. So much has changed since there trip. It was a nice look at these countries as they were. Especially the ones that us citizens can no longer visit. I love that he goes to the small villages to get authentic experiences.  Small town life is a big difference from touristy cities.

I enjoyed this book a lot! Interesting peek into a travel journal from another time of travel. Inspired me to think about getting out in the world!
