The first volume showed some promise, but this one is poor. The quality of the art has deteriorated. The plotting, characterisation and dialogue are all painfully clichéd. Not recommended.

I don't have a lot to say about it, I guess. This is the 2nd volume, which I didn't realize until after I'd started, but hey. Definitely curious to dig into some of the other Virgin Comics, which are all Indian-culture related. This one was a little talky in places and I had trouble keeping all the various factions straight, but the (female) lead was bad-ass, and the villains were refreshingly different from the Marvel/DC/whatever pantheon of comic book character tropes.
