A Love Letter from the Girls Who Feel Everything
by Brittainy C. Cherry and Kandi Steiner

4 out of 5 stars

Once again, this is a good poetry book. Actually, I accidentally found this book as my recommendation on Google. Never expect anything, tbh. But, well, I like this book.

This book is containing two version of letters. The first is from B, and the second is from K. To be honest, I like the B's letter more than K's.

When he makes you doubt yourself:
Your worth.
Your strength.
Your dreams.

Pack your bags and go.

Go
-- B.

This is a book of poetry and prose that we have been working on for more than two years now. There's a lot of heartache in these pages, but there's a lot of joy, too. If you love poetry from poets such as Rupi Kaur, Beau Taplin, Michael Faudet, Lang Leav, and Atticus, then this book is right up your alley. Make sure to add it to Goodreads and sign up for a release alert! ❤

This is the first time B Cherry and I have collaborated, and you guys have been asking for it for YEARS. Now, the only question is... are you ready for it? (T Swift voice) 😂

A LOVE LETTER
FROM THE GIRLS WHO FEEL EVERYTHING
by Brittainy C. Cherry and Kandi Steiner
Release Date: September 13th, 2018

Bestselling authors Brittainy C. Cherry and Kandi Steiner come together for the first time in an emotional compilation of poetry and prose. Written and collected over the course of more than two years, A Love Letter from the Girls Who Feel Everything is an intimate, honest, and raw assemblage of two women’s feelings in a modern world that often quiets any kind of emotion past indifference.

Discussing themes of love, worth, loss and hope, A Love Letter from the Girls Who Feel Everything is a journey of discovery and healing.

“We are the girls who feel everything.

And this is our love letter. To you, to them, to us, to the world, to no one at all. Whether it’s the brightest, sunniest day where everything is perfect, or the darkest, dreariest night of rain where life seems unbearable — we have lived it, we have survived it, and we have felt every, blissful, aching second.

Here’s to embracing the feels, to the brave souls that listen to the way their hearts beat and aren’t afraid to ask someone else if they feel those same beats, too. Here’s to the girls, the boys, the love we sometimes share and the love we all-too-often conceal.

And more than anything, Reader — here’s to you.”

The girls who feel everything made me feel everything too. The poems are short and sweet but vulnerable, inspiring and unabashedly raw. I challenge you to find a poem in this collection that doesn't resonate with your heart, one that doesn't cling to you long after you've put the book down. Brilliant work from a brilliant duo.

You feel everything. This book is a bit of all our emotions that we all need to read. We all need to look at these words and feelings and know that we are not alone when we feel them too. It is a great collection and you will want to cozy up and read slow and reread the ones that hit your heart and just take it all in, because you will feel everything.

5 Sterne!

4 stars. I don't gravitate towards modern poetry but this was pretty damn good. Both authors did an amazing job with their poems and I found almost every piece in here to be relatable. I liked the structure and format and I love that it was encouraging people to just feel. You can have emotions, it's okay and showing those emotions doesn't make you weak. I think that's an important message to get across, especially in this day and age where it's considered cool to be "savage" (ughhhh) and cold. Anyways, all of that aside this was a quick and wonderful read and it made me want to give Cherry's books another chance and to finally pick up something from Steiner.

It was a super quick to read and totally worth recognition. I have said it in my reviews about how much I like Brittiany C. Cherry's writting style. So I was more then willing to check this bad boy out! I haven't really read Kandi Steiner's novel but after reading this book I am definitely checking her work out.
I think I have highlighted most of my book. This poetry collection was a treat to Us (readers) and has poetries related to Falling in love, losing yourself, finding your inner strength and learning to love yourself again.
Well done ladies!
