I have no idea why this book is considered a must read classic. I found it boring and tedious. None of the characters are very interesting and I found the narration odd. Only finished because it was so short.

In all honesty, I only read this because I saw a *scholarly* Venn diagram ( https://pin.it/4ZfIBpmEk ) comparing Victor Frankenstein, Dorian Gray, and Dr. Jekyll. Since the former are 2 of the most interesting characters in English lit, I thought to myself that maybe the last was worth investigating. And I also wanted to see if I felt the diagram was accurate. I’d give it a solid 70% chance.
