I loved the book, I bawled my eyes out while reading chapter 37, and even more when Graves asks

Dru. What's that short for, anyway?

That totaly cracked my heart along with Dru's.
I was really hoping Dru would end up with Graves, so the ending for me was a bit shocking, but still it was a good ending.

It would have been five because the book was really gripping, but was ruined in the last 30 pages.

I loved the book, but there was one thing that really annoyed me and that was that she didn't choose between Christophe and Graves. I really wanted there to be a bigger scene where she ended up with Chris, I had been looking forward to it all series. I seriously thought she would end up with him then she goes and tells Graves she loves him. I don't know why but I just didn't like Graves as much he seemed more friend type than boyfriend type. Although it was good that he gave her his blood so that she was strong enough to get out but then Chris did the same thing. The battle was pretty good though, it lived up to my expectations. Just the love triangle such a disappointment to leave it unfinished like that, I guess she did it so that we can choose our own ending but I would have rather there been a big epic scene where Dru chose. Anyway I'm repeating myself now so I'll stop. All in all if you have read the other four books in the series you must read this one.

This was a fantastic ending to the series. Dru blooms and completes her destiny. Only thing that could have made it better is if she had officially ended up with Graves at the end. After everything he has done for her, she should end up with him

Alright, this series is awesome. I love St. Crow, but this i can't believe. The ending of this book, ugh! there were still alot of unanswered questions at the end. I was really hoping for more. Really wishing there was going to be another book.

So this book was pretty much kick ass, as always, until the resolution... the problem being that there wasn't really a resolution.
1. The whole thing with the Maharaj, which I don't remember at all from the previous books, wasn't really resolved that well. Dru talks through the whole series about how her granny is this hickish hex-wielding ninja, and then they kind of just barely summed it up with a "Yeah, you might be a part of this bastard branch thingy of magic user people. And we're sorry we tried to kill you."
2. The whole love triangle thing never resolved-- it kind of dissolved. Graves just leaves her and says that he has to sort his Broken Shit out. But that's cool. And then she tells Christophe, "well you're old and you knew my mom, but you've done lots of stuff to protect me and save my life and shizz without blinking an eye but I don't want to be with you or anyone now but maybe possible in the future I might want to be with you but maybe I won't." And he's totally cool with that. But I am not!
3. Her name. Her BLOODY FREAKING name! Throughout the entire span of the books she makes a huge deal about how she hates her name and she likes Dru because it is better than the sorry name her dead parents gave her. But my speculation? Drusilla, because I love Buffy and that is the only logical name I can think of.
