This book is a wild ride! I love a good psychological thriller and this book did not disappoint. This review will not contain plot points or spoilers.
You KNOW something isn’t right. Something constantly nags at you- what am I missing? Per usual, my mind searches for any and EVERY possibility, no matter how unlikely, just so when the truth is revealed I can proclaim, “I KNEW it!” Even if it was just a fleeting thought.
That did not happen with this book, I did not guess, although my brain skirted around it. In hindsight there were clues.
For more sensitive readers, beware of lots of pretty graphic sex, and also some child abuse. If those things are off the table for you, this isn’t the book for you. There were parts that were hard to read even for me, and I can generally read anything. But, on the bright side, no dogs died!
I really enjoyed this book and now that I have discovered Colleen Hoover I plan on reading more of her books.

This a good read for someone looking to get into the genre. Unfortunately, the plot and ending missed the mark for me. I wanted more character development and more suspense.

This is going to upset a lot of people. But I don’t understand the hype for this book. I don’t know if it’s for the descriptive sex scenes? Shocking content? For lack of better terms, it was really, really cringy. Really poorly written/worded at times. I’m going to challenge myself to read another Colleen Hoover book, but I was really let down.
started of good, unnecessary romance, too much sex, letter at the end was badly thought out
