I am a Colleen hater but this was such a wild read! I’m not a huge reader of thrillers so maybe that is why this was so good and shocking but I really enjoyed it!

Y'all. I wasn't ready for this book. I'm a member of the CoHorts group, so I've seen people's reactions and heard about how effed up parts of it are, but I still wasn't ready. Verity (the book not the character) is an amazing read. I devoured this book and am going to be obsessing over that ending for a while. Also, I highly recommend not reading it at night during a loud creepy night-time thunderstorm.
A twisty unrelenting tale that is unstoppable and a book you cannot put down a bit too graphic and raunchy at times but still very enjoyable. Great beach read.
Premettendo che io lo abbia letto in italiano e non in lingua og questo libro e che quindi ci possa essere qualche lacuna a livello di traduzione, a me questo libro non è ne piaciuto ne non mi è piaciuto mi ha lasciata solo molto interdetta, ho pianto come una bambina nel capitolo 14 della biografia e penso che non scorderò nessun capitolo del "punto di vista" di Verity perchè mi hanno un pò segnata.

I cannot stress how amazing this book was. I'm kind of on a Colleen binge, and I'm just waiting to be disappointed.... But I doubt that will ever happen. I read it in 4 hours, I couldn't put it down.
legend says Lowen is still writing the next book in the series. all ima say is never trust a man that guy is shady. even the kid is kinda shady shoving knives in his mouth and all that. every time he appeared I pictured him as one of those kids trapped in the mirror in Coraline. the fact that we didn’t get any answers from that creepy child makes me want to make this a 1 star read. I can’t believe Lowen didn’t read that manuscript in 1 sitting like if a chapter ended on a cliffhanger NO WAY is miss girl setting the book down and taking a shower. I’m convinced that Jeremy was behind all this drama and he either wrote the manuscript or he’s a serial killer cuz he’s just a little too chill …
I don't want to talk about it. Five stars and that's it.
