My daughter received this book as a gift and IT IS AMAZING. I love Ladybug Girl (Lulu) almost as much as she does. The fact that Lulu has an adorable bassett hound named Bingo makes it even better. The illustrations are OUT OF THIS WORLD and so is the story. I am so glad this is a series and only wish there were 100 more. Cannot say enough good things about it!

Main character Lulu is Moira's literary doppelganger. I can't imagine a better series for my 5-year-old.

Got this book from the library for my 6 year old daughter. She's a huge ladybug and butterfly fan. It was a wonderful book. Very well written and my daughter absolutely LOVED it! Looking forward to more!

I really love these books. The design is fabulous and provides great read aloud cues. I also love the artwork and how both Ladybug Girl and her four-legged sidekick get to look heroic. Just amazingly charming all around.

5 stars go to all the Ladybug girl books we've read! All about using your imagination while learning and growing through life's obstacles and dilemmas :)

Lulu's day starts off on a sad note as she's expected to play alone...but in a short while Lulu the Ladybug Girl finds all sorts of adventures. A great read for self-esteem, self-confidence for preschoolers and early elementary grades, especially girls.

Kathryn has been a huge fan of these books for about a year, but we had never gotten the original from the library. And I'm kinda glad that we didn't start with this one. It was a perfectly fine book but the later entries in the series involve far more adventurous adventures. Good but could be better.

This is a children’s picture book about a young girl named Lulu who dresses up as a ladybug. Left to her own devices, she becomes bored one day and takes on the persona of a superhero ladybug. I found the book to be a bit boring and disjointed.

Fun story, too bad about the interior cover illustration.
