The whole Percy Jackson and the Olympians, but particularly The Last Olympian, are aimed at middle schoolers but deal with big themes like loyalty, identity and loss. There were so many moments in The Last Olympian that could be defined as cliche, but the context, characters and plot just make it so right. I LOVE Camp Half Blood and all the stories that surround it 🧡🧡🧡

Love the series and this book does not disappoint. Lots of humor, lots of action, great characters. I'm sad to see the series end (though I have great respect for Riordan for limiting the series to just five books).
A great conclusion to the series - it was sad, exciting, happy, and entertaining all at once. Percy makes some decisions that no teen should have to make and a lot of tough things happen this book.
There's a lot more acceptance in this book which made me so happy to hear - these characters really grew over the series and it was great to see where they got to!
