Ok so the story isn't exactly Dickens or anything, but this book is a great way for me to share characters that I love and have read about for years with my two year old. It will be a long time before he's ready for the really adult content of the actual Sandman series, but with this I can feel like I'm sharing part of my life with him that I wouldn't be able to otherwise. I will definitely be buying the second book in this series for us to share.
