Is this book, nay, this series absolutely ridiculous in plot and logic? absolutely. some day it’s unrealistic, but it gives it such a charm. it’s so out there and insane that you know the stakes are literally limitless. the characters and interactions between the foxes have me swinging from laughter to crying to screaming. my brain chemistry has been altered.

Not sure I have thoughts on this one. Took me one day to read when I should be revising to not fail my exams. Anyway.
This book (series) is very bad. Bad bad. I can’t even begin to LIST the triggers, everyone who said there were a lot was absolutely correct. Wasn’t expecting to be this repulsed after the “tame” first book.
The characters still don’t really have personalities (or very confusing one), the rep is MORE THAN PROBLEMATIC and I would like to punch someone because who in their right mind thought “this is an appropriate way to portray queer people and mental illness”
I also don’t know what to do with my life now.

THE FUCKING EPILOGUE THIS IS MY FAV BOOK. still as good as it was a year ago.

alright third time reading it to prepare myself for tsc and the excitement and joy i still get when reading about the foxes? absolutely insane i love them all so much they’re so real to me. eventually, I do need to give this book a  structured review, but my thoughts are always in such shambles after finishing it.

A year ago Neil had been scared nobody, hating himself for signing the Foxes’ contract and counting down days until he moved in with Wymack. Tonight he was the starting striker for the first ranked team in the NCAA. In two years, he’d be captain, and then for years, he graduate from Palmetto State. Neil would find a professional team first and then fight tooth and nail to make the cut for court. Neil could already imagine the weight of an Olympic medal around his neck. He didn’t even care what the colour was so long  as it was his.

better than that bright future was what he already had. a court that would always be home, a family who would never give up on him, and Andrew, who for once didnt wasted their time denying that this thing between them might actually mean something to both of them. Neil hadn’t even noticed the silence at first, too distracted by his dissing thoughts. Now he couldn’t help but smile and pull Andrew in. This was everything he wanted, everything he needed, and Neil was never letting go.
