tissues. Need a lot of tissues. FOXES. My family. My favorite people. Have tears streaming down my face because that was such a rollercoaster. It was beautiful. Everyone was. I WILL NEVER GET OVER THEM. FOXES FOUND FAMILY. I already miss them so much I need help. The group scenes, COACH, ABBY, their bond, their games... better than words can describe. All the characters are so DIFFERENT and amazing.
ANDREIL. ANDREW AND NEIL. I lost it every moment they looked at each other, let alone all their moments, andrews denial and 'hatred' for Neil and his smart mouth. I adore and want to protect them with my entire BEING. How can 2 people be so BEAUTIFUL AND SOUL CRUSHING AND PERFECT???? I honestly kept tearing up every time they interacted because it was just so well written and their moments were so INSANE. I CANNOT AND WILL NOT RECOVER OR FORGET. I love them so much. I won't try to describe HOW MUCH I feel for and about them because it won't even make sense. I KNEW THEY'D DESTROY ME. Their contrasting personalities and banter and 'HATE YOU'S' and EMOTION and EVERYTHING. yeah okay, I'm done.

ANDREIL QUOTES *SPOILERS*

“The next time someone comes for you, stand down and let me deal with it. Do you understand?"
"If it means losing you, then no," Neil said.
"I hate you," Andrew said casually. He took a last long drag from his cigarette and flicked it off the roof. "You were supposed to be a side effect of the drugs."
"I'm not a hallucination," Neil said, nonplussed.
"You are a pipe dream," Andrew said. ”

“You like me."
"I hate you," Andrew corrected him

"I hate you."
"Nine percent of the time you don't."
"Nine percent of the time I don't want to kill you. I always hate you."
"Every time you say that I believe you a little less."
"No one asked you." With that, Andrew caught Neil's face in his hands and leaned in.”

"I need you to let me go."
"Give me one good reason," Andrew said.
"If I'm hiding behind you I'm still running," Neil said. "I don't want to end the year like this. I want to stand on my own two feet. Let me do that. None of this means anything if I don't.”

“This," Neil flicked his finger to indicate the two of them, "isn't worthless."
"There is no 'this'. This is nothing."
"And I am nothing," Neil prompted. When Andrew gestured confirmation, Neil said, "And as you've always said, you want nothing."
"That's a first," Neil said. "Do I get a prize for shutting you up?"
"A quick death," Andrew said. "I've already decided where to hide your body."
"Six feet under?" Neil guessed.
"Stop talking," Andrew said, and kissed him.”

“The only one I'm interested in is you."
"Don't say stupid things."
"Stop me," Neil returned. He buried his hands in Andrew's hair and tugged him in for a kiss.”

"Yes or no?"
"It's always yes with you," Neil said.
"Except when it's no," Andrew said.
Neil put a plastic-wrapped finger to Andrew's chin, guiding his head up for another kiss. "But this is always going to be yes."

“I am not a pipe dream," Neil said. "I'm not going anywhere."
"I didn't ask you."
"Ask me," Neil insisted, "or stick around long enough to figure it out for yourself."
"I'll get bored of you eventually."
"You sure?" Neil asked. "Rumor has it I'm pretty interesting."
"Don't believe everything you hear.”

“I won't be like them," Neil said. "I won't let you let me be."
"One hundred and one," Andrew said, "going on one hundred and two."
"You're a terrible liar," Neil said, and Andrew kissed him into silence.”

the amount of times this book had me kicking my feet and giggling just to make me gasp in horror the next page was outstanding but oh my god. this was like the best thing i’ve ever read. andrew and neil are so cute they make me nauseous even though i am slightly upset they didn’t admit it was real for so long. i literally loved every character by the end of this (besides aaron. aaron you know what you did) and i would die for all of them!!!!!
