I am usually not a fan of mafia romance for a multitude of reasons, but I really liked this one!! It’s been on my radar for years. I regret not picking it up sooner.

A todo el mundo le encanta y siento que leí un libro diferente. No me gustó nada, ni la Elena, ni su relación con Nico, ni como Nico trata an Elena, ni el secreto, ni nada.

What a surprisingly cute read.
I liked how while the world it was set in was violent, the protagonist's didn't have that violence between each other; he even protected her from it.
I can read dark romance, but I like the guy to not be violent towards the female; so clap clap

ੈ✩‧₊˚ Danielle Lori, you have converted me, I am now a mafia romance girlie...

Nico did not disappoint and for once we have a main female love interest who doesn't make me want to gouge my eyeballs out. That's a win in my books.

I loved the side characters, eagerly awaiting Sebastian's Book, loved the tension and enjoyed the fact that Nico wasn't a total red flag.

“Why are you staring at me?”

One heartbeat. Two.

His voice was rough and his gaze was steady when he said, “Maybe I want to.”

4 stars in total, BUT some scenes or situations make it a little 3 to 3.5 stars.

I am obsessed with Nico and Elena!

I love the banter between all characters! It's a bit of a slow start. The suspense of the guy Elena "went out with" was a little anticlimactic. Though, I understand that if Elena loved the man, it would be a little cliché seeing as how the guy ended up.

I understand that the whole mafia thing is how women are basically a plaything for men and women like it. This just feels too much. Also, the whole 'Jenny cheating' thing is annoying

This one wasn’t as endearing as book 3, but I still enjoyed it! I wanted to slap Elena most of the time for being so guarded, but I understood it was who she was as a character.

It’s hard to fall in love with a couple when neither of them want to admit the depth of their feelings to the other - it just makes me frustrated more than anything.

Besides that, I enjoyed the storyline, the tension, and each person as an individual. Definitely a great series to take your mind off things
