this was so terrible, the only reason i would buy this book again is to use it as a firestarter. elena couldn't make an intelligent choice if it hit her in the face, and nico reminded me of the highschool badboys in wattpad books i read 10 years ago. also nothing even happened in this book. they caused some drama for the sake of the plot, which was completely unnecessary for any part of the book, just to completely abandon the whole plot and move on to the next thing multiple times. it was basically the whole book. my one and only question: why in the hell are people hyping this up, and recommending it to other people? this was my wakeup call that tiktok recommendations cannot be trusted.
somewhere between 3,5 and 4 stars.

4.80 stars the world that Danielle has created it’s absolutely amazing, it holds such a distinct unique vibe like no others mafia romance has, Nico and Elena are sooo good, all their dynamics screams chemistry tension passion
