Just like her YouTube channel/series the content is person-centered, engaging, relatable and perspective shifting.
This was a joy to read and a self help book that doesn’t feel as cognitively effortful as some others out there - and I think that’s by design as it’s clearly written empathically for persons who live with or recognize symptoms of neurodivergence (PTSD, ASD, ADHD).

Omg I usually hate it when authors read their own books and this is the perfect example of why. She sounds likes she is swallowing her voice. I can’t stand it. She has the worst case of vocal fry I’ve ever heard.
I do think the book is informative and going to read it instead of listen to it because I cringe every time her voice cracks on a word (which is often!). Good content, horrible narrating.
