I... Don't know? It ends so abruptly that I don't even know how I feel about it all. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I hate the art but don't completely hate the story.

Lemire does it again! What an amazing creativity from this guy! We find the theme he like here, family, something always present in his work. And with it come a weirdness, a fantasy element, that put the work in motion. From there we just enjoy the ride. The subject, the style, the arts, the storytelling, the characters, everything. If you’re a Jeff Lemire fan you will most probably enjoy and if not then why not us it to discover one of the greatest comic/graphic novel artist of our days!!

Lemire starts again with some batshit crazy story and I'm on board!

And while the backdrop is some sort of "end of the world" nonsense again, the focus is a family just trying to survive. This is where Lemire really excels for me, these lovely personal stories that sear your heart.
