I enjoyed this book when I read it a few years ago (maybe two or three years) in fact I adored it, but now not so much, I think the characters ignore me which makes it hard to read and the plot is quiet predictable, Sophie Mckenzie has a good writing style and I enjoy some of her other books.

I've been wanting to read this book for a while, but I haven't been able to get myself mentally back into reading. So when I was searching my bookshelf yesterday, I remembered reading the back when I first bought it and just knew this was my next read. I wasn't sure what to expect when I first started reading, but instantly felt so emotionally attached to the characters and Lauren's Journey to finding out who she is and all of the twists and turns that unfold throughout the book. I was kind of expecting a cliff hanger to lead onto the second book but it definitely could've been left as one. I finished the book last night, so I've ordered the next two books to come today and I can't wait to start reading on.
