La definición de page turner, me he cargado las 300 en 5 días. La trama no es lo más importante de este libro en mi opinión. Lo realmente significativo es la forma en la que el autor compone una visión del mundo desde el punto de vista, a la vez infantil y experto, de una inteligencia artificial que lo conoce todo pero que a la vez aprende todo por primera vez.
La metáfora del Sol y de la inquebrantable fe que Klara tiene en él plasma esos sentimientos humanos que la AA sí que posee.
Ishiguro deja a la disposición del lector el decidir si la IA puede o no reemplazar a la raza humana y si hay de verdad algo que nos identifique como únicos.
Sin duda una lectura obligada.

As bad as it sounds, I would have liked this book better if
Josie would have died and Klara had taken her place. I imagine it to have been a chilly ending with klara opening her eyes in her new AF body looking like Josie and we would be left hanging. I find I like dystopian books when the worst case scenario comes true. Imagine the mothers’ emotions after this happening… I would have liked it a lot better…
