There are some cringe-worthy and unbelievable bits in this book, but an overall easy, sweet and light read for Sally Thorne’s first novel.

I liked the corporate dynamic and friendship building of the main characters. Would love to have had some scenes of side characters’ perspectives and snippets of their current lives. The slow burn of this book was delightful as well as tasteful intimate writing. Could not picture some of the weirdly childish words and actions of our main chick, especially someone directly under a CEO.
