I couldn’t put the book down. There is so much EvaJacks content I ran out of my tabs for it THREE times. My absolute favourite book that I've read this year, I can't wait for ACFTL.

[SPOILERS]
- I always had a funny feeling about Apollo, since we never got much grasp of his character in OUABH, but I didn't expect the ending of TBONA at all. I have an awful feeling that he's either inherited Lysander's gift with memories, or is Lysander, who has managed to somehow survive over the centuries.
- The EvaJacks content was so good but entirely heartbreaking by the end. "There is nothing of equal value to me", "Evangeline, come back to me" and "ballads don't end happily and neither do the two of us" were the main ones that had me crying.

Estoy amando esta trilogía. En esta segunda parte se desarrolla mucho más la relación de Evangeline y Jacks, la química entre ambos es brutal y la forma en la que escribe la autora es tan romántica. Este libro y el siguiente son de los más románticos que he leído en mi vida. La tensión entre los personajes es para morirse y sin una gota de escenas spicy. Me encanta que Evangeline se caracterice por tener siempre esperanza y Jacks por ser tan desenfadado, pero solo en apariencia. En el final casi lloro, es demasiado. Obligatorio seguir con el tercer libro.

I’m not a huge YA fan but I did enjoy this book. I enjoyed this more than the first. The plot twists and turns kept me entertained! Great cliff hanger, onto the next.

i knew i would like this because of its hype, as many claim it's the best book in the trilogy, but i think my expectation were just too high
it was not a let down at all, i loved its prose and all the evajacks moments, yet it was a bit repetitive
it would be three stars but the stories and the lore that was explained was top notch
also the fact that i basically spoiled myself every aspect of this book before reading it was NOT a good idea
