OH COME ON!!!
All that yearning, pain, and risk taking to end me like THAT? How dare you.

But seriously though. Not a bad read at all, the lower rating is because I haven’t bonded with these characters as much as other people have (and thats okay).

I still think its a great story, with a very interesting world building and plot, nice switch ups and revelations, and amazing work with the writing. Loveable characters, emotional moments and the constant feeling of wanting everything to go right for our beloved characters.

I will finish the trilogy but unfortunately it hasn’t landed as heavily in my heart as I thought it would (probably because of how much I already know about these books)

I'm still struggling with connecting with this series overall, but the twists and turns in this one pulled me in. Like, what was that ending?! I also like Evangeline's character development so far—she was more fierce in this book compared to the first one. The ending definitely redeemed this read for me and left me curious enough to continue on to the next book!
