Super cute!! I can totally see why many loves it
I really like Shirayuki bcuz she doesn't gave up even tho she doesn't have power like the people who wants to use her she still manages to fight back (with Zen's help sometimes but she isn't the damsel in destress who doesn't do anything and just wait around) she is smart, caring and determined to have her own story and to do what she wants (although what she wants relates to her friendship *cough* crush *cough*)
Zen the second prince and the guy who likes to sneak away from the castle to have real life experiences.. he is sweet, protective and strong

It’s alright. This manga and anime has been one on my radar for a while because of its references to the fairytale of Snow White and me being a fairytale nerd, but I hadn’t been dying to get to it. I decided to buy the first volume of the manga to try it out recently and although I still read it quite quickly it felt like a bit of a chore at times. I also didn’t like how often Shirayuki kept getting ordered around, kidnapped, nearly raped, I struggle with those storyline’s in general but even more so when it feels like it isn’t necessary. I do think Shirayuki and Zen are cute together and it’s refreshing seeing a manga couple be aware of how they feel and both act on them quite early. Kiki and Mitsuhide are kinda fun and cute too, they kinda remind me a bit of Mustang and Hawkeye in Fullmetal Alchemist. I did like the lil’ Snow White references and the red hair references (I often have bright red hair myself and red is my favourite colour) scattered throughout. In saying that though, I’m not sure if it’s because I wasn’t loving it or if the translation is off or what but it feels like the flow of the dialogue isn’t great and doesn’t always make sense. I dunno maybe it’s just me. I also found a lot of character designs very similar, originally I thought Kiki and Shirayuki were the same character because of the way Kiki was drawn and I dunno maybe I missed a speech bubble at first. I hate most of the side characters and I swear two of the male side characters are drawn exactly the same. Overall, I’m not sure if I’d continue, maybe I’d try the anime out next instead of buying another volume of the manga or maybe I’ll just drop it. I don’t really like the world and most the characters so I feel like I’d only be pushing through for the romance but I’m not sure I care enough about the romance to push through.

This was so very cute and adorable. Very peaceful, very charming. But unfortunately also very dull and boring.

I mean... pretty cute and innocent but also a tad boring. Shirayuki has red hair, and lots of men covet her. She runs away and meets Zen, a prince who saves her from another guy and then invites her to his palace. This seems to be their eventual romance. I did like that Shirayuki was an herbalist with a backbone and fought back against the people trying to hold her against her will.

This was a cute beginning, but it lacked much of a plot, and I finished it knowing barely more about the characters than when I started. I'm not setting aside this series yet, though! It seems like it has the potential to be a great story.
