I would definitely give this image 3.5. I like the first book better but this book is still really good. I am now a fan of Katee Robert.
This series is the first mafia romance I’ve enjoyed. Katee Roberts writes great characters and spice, and she does an excellent job of setting up future books with character cameos. Easy, quick, spicy read I very much enjoyed.

I liked this one better then the first. Still have a strange nickname “lovely” but it wasn’t as annoying and “angel”

Good set up front the last book that followed through nicely and set up for the next book and possibly the book after. The series is flowing nicely and this is the real start of the greater family story.

I enjoyed that the plot was different from book 1. And I also liked to see the main characters struggle with their family’s and expectations. I really feel like this could have had one (or even a few???) more chapter to wrap up some loose ends. Overall enjoyed the story/plot but not as much as the first one.
I’m really loving this series! The mafia life is the one for me!
Enemies to lovers is one of my favorite tropes and this did not disappoint.
