Interesting plot line. I didn't realize this was the second book in the series until I was halfway through it. I still finished it and really enjoyed it! It's the typical mafia romance type stuff, but still.

My oh my the mouth on that Halloran! I liked this one even better than the first in the series. The chemistry between Carrigan and James straight up sparked off the page.
2.5/5 stars. better than the first in this series but still has some inconsistencies. not the best of her works but enjoyable.
