This book had heat, drama, heart, and so much going on that it was fun to read. It felt like an old mob movie at times and I loved it. The alternating point of views, the "bad" guy trying to do some good, the different families and gangs, it all made for a really great read.
My Thoughts
The book was fast paced and suspenseful. It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time, not knowing what was going to happen next. Then when Carrigan and James were together it was like a hush fell over the madness around them. The Wedding Pact is one crazy fun roller coaster that everyone needs to experience. It's suspenseful, romantic, sexy as hell, and fast paced. It draws you in and doesn't let you go.

Apparently you really need the context of the first book in order to understand what’s going on and I don’t care enough about the story to find and read the first book. Oh well.

This one was hard for me to get into, but it definitely picked up. What happens when you have to make an agreement with the enemy? For Carrigan that's what she must to avoid a more disastrous situation. Can she trusts after what he did last time? James is drawn to Carrigan, but can he make up for past mistakes to prove he's in for the long hall? James has to balance his feelings for Carrigan and his family responsibility.
