Overworked office-worker Rei gets reborn into her favourite boarding-school dating-sim game as the main character and is overjoyed - not because she likes any of the three hunks programmed to be the romantic interests, but because she adores the snooty mean-girl adversary character. Rei immediately declares her love for Claire, masochistically glorying in the flabbergasted bully's persistent torments and taking full advantage of her vast knowledge of this game-world. What begins feeling like a goofy gag starts feeling creepy and stalkery when Rei gets her job, and I start feeling sorry/horrified for Claire rather than seeing the situation as an extension of the infatuation-gag, as it's likely intended. This gets described as a f|f romance but so far it's a stalking, not a romance, and if that gets turned into a romance later (a la "If someone's not interested, just be persistent and in the end they'll come around!") it's...again, horrifying is the only word.
We get hints of some opportunities for future character development in Claire, but the protagonist Rei (who, in the real world, is an adult so should already have a dash of maturity) is just a flat obsessive fangirl without self-regulation skills throughout (another mark against any attempt at steering this relationship towards romance, and against the manga in general for my taste).
Not my cup of tea.

man i dunno i just think isekai is fun

Queer and cute! The irresistible mean blond girl love interest is a trope for a reason.

I watched the anime adaption recently and decided to read the manga!

I love that we're finally getting a sapphic isekai story! I usually love villainess characters and end up defending them so Rei is just like me forreal! (lol) However, I do agree with other reviews that don't particularly like how aggressive she is in her affection. I think future character development will make this less obnoxious in the future.

The Rating
I give this book a 4/5

That was some clear overstepping of boundaries. I understand that manga often over do something to make it funny but this was too much

Mostly cute (but a little creepy). It's not bad but it's not really my style.

They can be cute, but it's just not my type of trope

She’s a super creep.
