It took me about 25% of the book to really get into it, but then it was quite wonderful. I love the overarching story of the meaning of true immortality, how that drama is so interlocked with the drama of nature, and the beauty and meaning of connections through time.

I really enjoyed parts of it but then it became rather disjointed. I couldn’t quite understand the relevance of some chapters to the overall direction of the book.
