I nearly died laughing. My coworker would have had to tell the paramedics, "Well, she was reading this book, and she started cracking up, and her chair just tipped back and she cracked her head on that doorknob on the way down...." and everyone at work would have been really mad because we're already shorthanded. But it would have been absolutely worth it because this book is HILARIOUS.

This feels like watching a 2000's rom-com but I think it's actually aged better than many a 2000's rom-com? There's a real snap and fizziness to this story and the banter between Cal and Min is fantastic, as is the way they consistently have each other's backs throughout the story. I also loved the supporting characters and how lived-in this book felt. There's a sense of whimsy and something almost magical to this book, as the universe keeps on pushing Cal and Min together.
Typicall romance novel. Cute and funny. A little drawn out, by the end I was a little tired of Min and her insecurities. Her whining was getting old towards the end. Then again with a mother like hers I would have issues too. I wished the story put the mother in her place which they started to but she never changed. Also the guy already said he loved you and you already told him that too, why the doubts. But what did I expect? I liked it overall.
