3.5 stars. Better than #1-5 of outlawed, but still just lacking. Mostly it bothers me because I love Kamala Khan so much in her own series, and this Kamala only barely resembles her. The art also bothered me because she looks too glamorous and not enough like the awkward high school girl she is.

I deducted a star because the artist doesn’t seem to know what Kamala Khan looks like. In this book, she looks like a (poorly) palate swapped white girl.

Another title ending before it can get past the first main arc, disappointing.

This has been a fun series, with some nice nuanced moments sprinkled in. A decent wrap-up, with a good win (and excellent Kamala moment) and some loose ends left just in case.
