This series is great! I like the magic mixed with modern weaponry twist.

This was a free audio from Audible. It was the first three books of a series. It is sort of a cross between steampunk, fantasy, and too much romance for me to give it any more stars. I prefer the romance in stories I read to be a little less obvious. The world-building wasn't bad. The concept was sound. I liked the execution. I just didn't love it. Heck, I listened to all three.

I think this is more of a personal preference rating. The premise is really interesting and the writing is not bad, but I prefer my sci-fi and fantasy novels to be more focused on the world and the plot than obvious romances and endless snogging. If that's your bag, you'll probably like this series more than I did.

The crack team meet the amorous dragon?

Candy which is fun at times, will it lead to buying books, rather doubtful.
