The reader is instructed to follow some directions by a trio of mice named Rupert, Thistle and Nibbs. Poor Bruce was trying to sleep on a log when the mice (and you, the reader) disturb him by waking him up and turning/shaking the pages per the mice's instructions. Grumpy Bruce is not enjoying the hubbub of course.
Fun addition to the Bruce series and great for any age to read together.

Another gem in the Mother Bruce series by Ryan T. Higgins!
Bruce wants to nap. But it's not in the cards for today!
Just when you think Bruce cannot have anything more madcap happen....the mice make sure
its another crazy, hilarious day!
