Very informative, good length book to consume on your daily commute.

Revisiting after a few years as it’s required reading for our training that I facilitate for new managers. Formatting is a little outdated and the parables are not specific - so less helpful if you want to move out of theory. I There is good framework for both praise and redirection that is useful- like all business and coaching books it could be an article rather than a book so take what you can and leave the rest. You could just use the summaries at the end of each chapter and gain all insight you need.

A parable that examines management in an approachable way through goal setting, praises and redirects. The parable style was a bit of a challenge for me, but there were clear takeaways.

Again had to read for work, my brain Is jello. I use to have a boss that managed like this and it made me a better manager!
challenging informative fast-paced

A little too simplistic.

It's fine, it's quite long for the overall concept. It would've been more interesting if there were other examples or something else to make it feel like more than a long blog post.

Useful

The book is a quick read, and the messages are crisp and impactful. So simple and makes so much sense. It’s too bad not every manager or organization can think in this manner. I will definitely practice this moving forward as it easily applies to life and work.
