Nothing new here, but given that it was written in the early 80s, it must have been groundbreaking back then. A bit dated in terminology, but a useful reminder to set goals and provide feedback.
Super quick read, written as a simple and rather repetitive story. But stories are sticky and I'll likely remember the lessons from this one: set clear goals, catch people doing something right, and quickly redirect them when they're off-track. Done.
Gah. This is an awful, awful read. Yes the principles are fine, but I feel like I've just read an incredibly badly written children's book. Urgh.

This was a very good book. I think the message is extremely important for modern businesses, and I'm glad I got the chance to read about it in my marketing class. The book was written in a simple, easy-to-understand way that makes it easy to follow the steps. For sure a book worth rereading!
