Well this book was confusing. It took me over 50% to get a bearing on what was really happening and I was never close to guessing who did it.

I started out with the impression that Aiden was a detective and was going into different bodies each night to find out who murdered Evelyn Hardcastle. I wasn't even close. Aiden does go into different bodies to find out who killed Evelyn Hardcastle, however there are time loops and other people also trying to find out who killed her. The first person to solve the murder gets out of the time loop.

I appreciate the complexity of the story, but there were so many time loops. Anna is also trying to solve the murder to escape, but they are living on two different time lines. While Aiden can inhabit up to 8 people, Anna only gets the one person to inhabit. As time goes on Aiden slowly loses his sense of self as the people whose bodies he is using personalities take over.

I was never even close to figuring out anything.
