OH MY GOODNESS! Im so glad I read this book. It's so damn beautiful and I really didn't see the plotwists coming. The ending was perfect, the last line summarised Oak and Wren's whole relationship perfectly.

I CANT BELIEVE THEYRE FINALLY GETTING MARRIED YESSS!!!!!

"Why does anyone want anyone else?" Tiernan answers. "We do not love because people deserve it - nor would I want to be loved because I was the most deserving of some list of candidates. I want to be loved for my worst self as well as my best. I want to be forgiven my flaws."

This book was so fun and tense and crazy. This is exactly why Holly Black is my favourite author ❤ The characters were so loveable and unique I loved them all. Oak was an incredibly interesting main character to read about and to see his perspective on things was really cool. Absolutely loved this book. ❤❤❤❤

The pacing in this book was a bit off. I wasn’t truly captivated until around the 75% mark. That said, the ending of the book was phenomenal and more than made up for the slow pace throughout the rest of the book.
