I'm happy with how everything turned out for the girls, especially Murphy, but I was just hoping for a little Happier of an Ever After for them all. I will miss them all.

This was the perfect, easy to read, coming of age series. It made me tear up at times and I really think they each of the characters got the perfect ending. While it’s not the one I expected when I read this first book, it worked with their character development and true selves. Needless to say peaches is amazing despite being 13 years old.

Murphey, Leeda and Birdie have all started out the lives they've always wanted, Murphey and Leeda are both in New York and Birdie is New Mexico. But even though they thought it would be all fun and games, Murphey misses Rex like crazy but has too much pride to admit it, Leeda still feels the emptiness inside of her even though she has Eric, her new boyfriend and she's finally in New York and Birdie is more confused than ever concerning her relationship with Ericardio. But as these three girls make their way back to their hometown and to the orchard they soon realize that this summer is going to effect their whole lives and for better or for worse the mistakes they learn from and the challenges they work through will help them solve all their questions and curiosity of their lives to come. But what will happen when the girls find out that the orchard is in danger of being sold? How will this knowledge impact their summer and their lives?

Super serious ... a perfect beach read!

The main characters are both mundane and annoying! Hooray! It's your stereotypical story for "teen girls" but I wouldn't recommend this book to them. It's boring as hell, and there are better options out there.
