4.5 chatty girl stars 🌟

Gabriel and Sophie have the cutest grumpy/sunshine dynamic and I love their banter so much. From the minute they met on the plane, I was immediately invested in their relationship

The third act conflict was a little frustrating because it felt overblown but it was resolved quickly and everyone realized their mistakes.

Overall I really enjoyed this book! My favourite of the series so far

This was so good! I loved every second of this. The forced proximity, the relationship, the found family, the slow burn

Love the “friends who cuddle” trope and all the sexual tension, not a fan of how alpha the hero is. They joke about him being an asshole, but honestly, he really is. :/

I loved this book as I did Idol. Gabriel was an interesting character and I loved Sophie. The beginning of the book had me cracking up.

Had I read this 8 years ago I would've probably enjoyed this book a little more. Now, it wasn't really to my taste, but I still finished it and liked some parts, but I did feel like I had to push myself to be entertained even by those.

This romance was a very typical 2014-2016 romance, with a bunch of moments that felt very out of nowhere and unlikely to happen, but once I forced myself to falsely believe that "you know what, I guess it could happen" I could enjoy some other cute moments between the couple. I did cringe through a lot of this book, and of course it had a 3rd act break-up because of an incredibly idiotic miscommunication
when she heard him saying something mean, but he wasn't talking about her... gah, cringe

I'm kinda glad I read this for the 2016 nostalgia, mostly. :)
