Ah, the calm before the storm. This book was lovely and full of sweetness. I'm scared to read the next one, though.

Hmm. That was a really short and quick read. Introduced Seong Jae’s sister. That was fun. And so were the small moments between Malcolm and Seong Jae. Same old but fine.

Wtf is up with Sade and Huang? I mean wait up. I don’t get it. What is going on?

Reread #1

“Hey.”
“Hn?”
“I missed you,” Malcolm said softly.
Seong-Jae hit him.
Just a light thump of his curled fist against his shoulder, before he shoved, turning face away. “Get off me.”
“Fine, fine.”

THIS IS SO PRECIOUS I CAN'T!
..........................................

“You’re everything. You overwhelm me and I don’t want to lose myself but I need to drown in you and you make me feel like I could sink forever and never come up for air.”

That's it. That's my review.

PS... does anyone else think that when SJ says "I will kill you in your sleep" , he really means "I love you" ?
No? Just me?
Ok then.

This particular episode wasn't about a crime being investigated rather it was the aftermath of the previous case for both Seong Jae and Malcolm.
You get a glimpse of Seong Jae's history meeting his sister which was very nice but you still have the underlying threat of Sila.
The only crime directly noted in this book took place with a criminal from a previous story and left you questioning what the heck is going on with Sade.
