C'est impossible. Je suis dans le déni le plus total, premier degré. Ils ne peuvent pas être morts, je refuse. Je suis persuadée qu'ils sont vivants. (Update: je suis allée voir sur WikiFandom, ils sont vivants, j'en ai pleuré de joie).

Je crois que cette série est vraiment mon premier gros coup de cœur de cette année. J'aime les personnages, la plume est poétique et fluide, l'univers est si prenant. Tout y est, un véritable bonheur et tsunami d'émotions.
J'ai si hâte que la suite sorte en France et de voir où va nous emmener Chloe Gong.

Took me a while to get through this one partly because I got busy (and because I read another book which I'll log later at some point). This duology continues to be an interesting take on Romeo and Juliet- there's some familiar beats, but other elements are remixed in surprising ways, all placed in the very real Chinese Civil War intermittently breaking out in 1927 amid an already fractured Shanghai.

The side characters get fleshing out and have a little bit more to do. The parental units were less present, though (but Tybalt is still a dick).
