I liked it, and will probably reread it sometime. It also reminded me of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.

A great foundation of work on how to communicate and effectively manage people. Worth the time and effort to read and practice. Not all of it was new to me, but the way it was presented here was effective and to the point.

A good update to the book. It's not necessarily about common sense, but good etiquette and how to use it. There are some stuff about the digital age, like how to write a good email, but it feels like the digital stories have a tendency to focus on how not to act. But, the basic rules like think before you speak, the golden rule, and think of others goals are here and are still relevant in this day and age.

"How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie is a timeless classic that offers practical advice on interpersonal relationships and communication. One of the aspects I appreciate most about this book is the way it is written. Carnegie's writing style is engaging and accessible, making complex social principles easy to understand and apply. Each chapter is filled with real-life examples and anecdotes that vividly illustrate every point he makes, ensuring that readers can relate to and learn from the experiences shared.

The clarity with which Carnegie explains each principle is remarkable. Whether it's learning how to handle criticism, give sincere appreciation, or understand the importance of listening to others, every point is meticulously broken down and supported with persuasive evidence and stories. This method not only reinforces the concepts but also makes them memorable and actionable.

As I read through the book, I couldn't help but wish I had encountered it much earlier in life. Many of the lessons Carnegie shares are ones I learned the hard way through personal experiences and mistakes. This book could have saved me from many misunderstandings and awkward situations had I read it sooner. It serves as a reminder that effective communication and relationship-building are skills that can be learned and refined, rather than just innate talents some people have.

I wholeheartedly recommend "How to Win Friends and Influence People" to anyone who hasn't yet mastered the art of making friends and influencing others. It is an invaluable resource for improving one's social skills, both personally and professionally. Whether you are looking to enhance your interactions in the workplace, deepen your friendships, or simply become a more empathetic and understanding person, this book provides the tools and insights necessary to achieve those goals.
