It was hard to put it down at times but made me feel uneasy at the story line. Very heavy themes involving the death of children which took me by surprise.

every character is straight up psycho. the storyline itself was actually really good but I felt like the manuscript chapters were way better than any of the current plot chapters. tension is built well but many plot points are rushed through or explained away too easily

I think this is a lifetime movie in book form. I think it’s great for someone who considers themselves a casual reader and is getting back into reading. This is what it was for me.
